Welcome.  My name is Steve Schneider.  I’m a Certified Franchise Consultant and Florida-licensed Business Broker.

More than four decades have passed since I earned my last paycheck (working as a Registered Representative for a New York Stock Exchange member firm).  I’m a seasoned entrepreneur with forty-five years of hands-on experience in business ownership, operations, and equity and asset transactions. I provide franchise consulting and business brokerage services to my clients.

My work as a transaction intermediary began with the purchase of a business brokerage franchise in 1983. I have held an equity position in four different franchise systems. Since 2005, more than 500 franchise companies have commissioned me to recruit franchisees for their new and resale opportunities.

As a member of the IFPG organization, I provide you with a host of resources to assist in the search for YOUR ideal franchise opportunity.  I take an unbiased approach and provide a systematic method to help determine the best options available to you.

  • I’ll spend the time necessary to familiarize myself with you, your interests and skills, and what you are looking for in a business. Imagine buying a home or car without first stepping back to decide what you need and what your investment range should be? You owe it to yourself and your family to start your search with some guidelines in place — that’s where I can help.
  • After learning your personal and professional goals, I’ll work with you to review potential franchises and identify the ones that appear to be a good fit for you. This process to understand your goals, learn what is required by each franchise, know the funding options available, and go through a discovery process ensures that you will make an educated, considered decision and sets you on the road to success. You’ll never have to visit websites, request information, and wait for a response only to find that the franchise isn’t available in your area or doesn’t fit what you’re looking for in a business. I’ll research it for you.
  • You’re likely to discover franchise opportunities that you’d otherwise overlook. Yes, that is the benefit of having someone working for you who has a deep understanding of the opportunities in today’s marketplaces. If you love coffee, you’ll probably gravitate to looking at coffee franchises, even though owning a coffee franchise has very little to do with loving coffee. You owe yourself to understand what franchise models best align with your existing skills, and I’ll help get that picture into focus.
  • If you’re considering financing, I can refer you to some excellent third-party lenders who specialize in financing franchises. Most bank loan officers have little or no experience in lending to potential franchisees.
