Robeks Corporation Appoints Sheri Miksa President and CEO

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA, Oct 10, 2006 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX) -- Robeks Corporation, a premium retail smoothie and juice franchising company, today announced the appointment of Sheri Miksa as President and CEO. Miksa was selected by the Company's board of directors, led by vice chairman and interim president and CEO, Tony Gioia. Robeks currently has 95 franchise locations in 17 states and plans to open its 100th unit later this year.

Miksa is an accomplished and seasoned senior executive in the foodservice industry, with more than 25 years of general management, marketing/brand management and operations experience. Most recently, she was CEO, President, and Director of Rubio's Restaurants, Inc. where she re-invigorated the brand and made this publicly traded company a top competitor in the Fast-Casual Fresh Mexican Grill category. Prior executive roles include Chief Operating Officer of Seattle Coffee Company (a division of franchisor AFC Enterprises), Vice President of Operations at LSG Sky Chefs and Senior Director of Operations at Taco Bell Corporation. Miksa also held marketing positions with Frito Lay, Inc., General Foods Corporation and Sceptre Hospitality/AspenCrest Hospitality. She holds an MBA in Marketing from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Alaska.
